Overview

Overview Certified Medical Assistant/LPN to provide clinical and administrative support in a health-care setting, working alongside physicians and other health-care professionals.

• Clinical Duties:
  Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including taking and documenting vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician, adhering to all safety protocols and proper documentation.
• Collect laboratory specimens (urine, throat cultures, etc.).
• Perform basic diagnostic tests (e.g., EKG, point-of-care testing).
• Cleaning and maintaining exam rooms.
• Triage patient calls and messages, addressing concerns or escalating to the appropriate provider.
• Manage prescription refills and prior authorizations.

• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and take messages.
• Manage incoming/outgoing faxes.
• Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Perform general office duties as assigned.

• CMA:
  Active certification required; must be from a nationally recognized CMA certification program to be considered.
• LPN:
  Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
