Diet Aide

Position

St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines, NC is currently seeking full‑time and part‑time Diet Aide(s) in the Health Center, our skilled nursing facility.

Location:

Southern Pines, NC – Salary range: $13.00–$14.50 per hour.

Part time

Rotating shift

• Assisting with the preparation, set up, and delivery of all meals.
• Learn and be responsible for working with the Certified Dietary Manager in developing meal plans, working with the cooks on the line, as well as delivering the meals to residents.
• Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies. Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as our established policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter‑department personnel as well as with other departments within the community.

• Must have a high‑school diploma or GED.
• Be punctual, team‑oriented and willing to learn.
• On‑the‑job training will be provided.
