HGV C+E Container Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking container drivers to work out of Felixstowe, Tilbury, and London Gateway Ports. The position is full‑time, permanent, and based in transport depots in Southend‑on‑Sea or Tilbury. Drivers will operate modern XL cab trucks (Volvo or DAF) equipped with fridges, and may work nights during the week.

• Travel to assigned Essex depot Monday morning, secure your vehicle, and commence work.
• Deliver and collect containers at Felixstowe, Tilbury, or London Gateway Ports, sleeping out during the week or returning to depot as agreed.
• Communicate with the company and customers, reporting any delays, issues, or relevant information.
• Meet DVSA regulations and manage driver hours.

• Ability to drive during nights and weekends.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of DVSA regulations and safe driving practices.

• Weekly pay.
