Class 2 Driver

Location: Southend-on-Sea

Currenltry looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Dusk Cart Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection, transport, and delivery of waste and recycling materials using a Class 2 vehicle. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and thrives during afternoon/evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate a Class 2 cart truck safely and efficiently

* Complete daily scheduled routes during the dusk shift

* Collect, transport, and dispose of waste or recycling materials

* Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies

* Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

* Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members

* Provide excellent customer service to clients and the public

Requirements

* Valid Class 2 (Category

C) driver’s licence

* Good physical fitness—ability to handle manual tasks when required

* Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
