Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities, proportionate to experience
Undertake statutory assessments and safeguarding work
Prepare reports, care plans, and court documentation for family proceedings
Work in partnership with families, carers, and multi-agency professionals
Apply restorative practice to achieve positive outcomes for children Requirements

Recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
Completion of ASYE
Experience working within a Children with Disabilities service
Knowledge of child protection, LAC, and associated statutory frameworks
Understanding of child development, attachment theory, and assessment frameworks
