Social Worker - Adoption (Permanent)
Location: Southend-on-Sea, UK
Salary: £39,152 - £45,091 per year
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Work Pattern: Hybrid (minimum 2 days on-site at Civic Centre)

We are seeking a permanent, full-time Social Worker with adoption experience to join our team. You will:
- Recruit, assess, and support prospective adopters to meet the needs of children.
- Undertake family finding and provide post-adoption support.
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective social work services for children, young people, and families.
- Complete assessments, enquiries, and care/adoption plans to a high standard.
- Take a holistic approach, considering children's education, health, social, and recreational needs.
- Recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- Completion of ASYE.
- At least two years' adoption service experience and knowledge of adoption regulations.
- Proven ability to work directly with children for whom permanency is the plan.
- Strong relationship-building, analytical, and communication skills.
- Positive, adaptable approach to change.
- Driving licence and access to a car.
- Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days on-site per week.
