Multi Skilled Plumber​/Carpenter

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable housing association in the Southend-on-Sea and surrounding region for an experienced Multi‑Trade Operative to join their maintenance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and dependable tradesperson to secure consistent, full‑time work delivering high-quality repairs to social housing properties in the Southend and surrounding region.

Location: Southend‑on‑Sea and surrounding

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week #removed#

Duration: Temp to perm

Pay Rate: £19 - £20 per hour depending on experience (Van provided)

• Conducting planned maintenance in void properties
• Plumbing: 2nd Fix Plumbing – Tracing leaks, repairs to pipework, taps, toilets, and domestic systems
• Carpentry:
  Basic carpentry fitting skirting, architraves, and general woodwork
• Plastering:
  Patch repairs and making good
• General Maintenance and upgrades:
  Laying vinyl flooring, locks and window upgrade and other general tasks.

• Experience across plumbing, and basic carpentry, patch plastering, and painting
• NVQ or trade qualifications in Plumbing or Carpentry (Level 2 min)
• Full manual UK driving licence

  Strong attention to detail and a professional approach

  Able to work safely and respectfully in properties
