Customer Sales Consultant
Inbound | Phone, Email & Live Chat
Leigh-on-Sea, Essex
£25,000 basic + £210 monthly bonus (first 6 months) + uncapped commission
Are you someone who enjoys guiding customers to the right decision, rather than pushing a hard sell?
We’re looking for confident, personable sales professionals to join a customer-focused environment where conversations are warm, inbound and needs-led. Customers contact you because they want help — your role is to listen, advise, and recommend the right solution.
This role suits people who thrive on targets and performance, but prefer a consultative, soft-sale approach.
What you’ll be doing
* Handling inbound enquiries via phone, email and live chat
* Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable options
* Confidently handling questions and objections in a calm, professional way
* Identifying opportunities to upsell or add value where appropriate
* Working to individual and team performance targets
* Delivering a consistently friendly, reassuring and trustworthy experience

What you’ll need
* Experience in a sales or customer-facing environment
* Confidence working to targets and KPIs
* Strong objection handling skills
* Excellent communication and rapport-building ability
* A professional, likeable telephone manner
* Comfortable multitasking across systems and channels
* Proactive, solution-focused mindset
* A genuine desire to help customers make informed decisions
(Experience in regulated or compliance-led environments is a bonus, but not essential.)
