Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture small-batch precision components using horizontal and vertical machining centres.
  • Work to tight tolerances, following detailed engineering drawings.
  • Use a range of measuring equipment to verify component accuracy.
  • Perform final drilling, deburring, and packing of machined parts.
  • Support other functions within the manufacturing area, including Assembly, Machine Shop, and Fabrication.
  • Complete all assigned tasks efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Skills & Experience Required

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, Grade C or above (preferred).
  • Formal CNC training (advantageous).
  • Proven CNC Milling experience. Experience in Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing (preferred).
  • Proficient working with metal materials.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Competent in using metric and imperial measurements.
  • Computer literate with a methodical approach.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
