Production Technician – Honeywell

Location:

Southend‑on‑Sea, UK. This role is 100% onsite with a weekly rotational shift pattern of 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm.

As a Production Technician you will operate, maintain and troubleshoot automated manufacturing processes using lean manufacturing principles to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime while ensuring products meet quality standards.

• Perform regular planned maintenance tasks on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Identify and resolve technical problems with equipment and processes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment maintenance, and quality control data.
• Work with other departments, such as quality control and engineering, to improve production processes.
• Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

• Strong understanding of machinery, equipment, and manufacturing processes with a focus on preventative maintenance and repair.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with knowledge of production processes and equipment.
• Industry‑led qualifications in electrical and/or mechanical engineering principles.
• Proficiency in the use of computer systems and good numeracy skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in a manufacturing setting.
