We’re currently recruiting 6 CNC/Machine Operators on behalf of our client – a well-established precision engineering firm based in Southend-on-Sea.

• Operating CNC horizontal and vertical machining centres to manufacture high-precision, small-batch components.
• Interpreting detailed engineering drawings and producing parts to exacting standards.
• Performing final operations including drilling, deburring, and packaging.
• Using measuring tools to check component accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
• Assisting other departments such as Assembly or Fabrication when needed.

• Recent experience working with CNC or manual machinery in a manufacturing or engineering setting (within the last 12–18 months).
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and working to fine tolerances.
• Skilled in using measuring tools such as callipers, micrometres, and gauges.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.

• £13.33 per hour, paid weekly.
• Day shifts, Monday to Friday – no weekend work!
