Experienced Social Media Manager - Volunteer

Help amplify social impact as a Volunteer Social Media Manager. Use your digital skills to grow awareness, engage communities and attract supporters by managing and developing Global Social Innovators’ social media presence.

What difference will you make? This role strengthens GSI’s digital presence, helping us reach wider audiences and engage supporters more effectively. Strong social media activity increases awareness of our work, supports community engagement, and helps us extend our reach to those most in need.

What are we looking for? We are looking for a creative and reliable volunteer with proven experience in social media management. Strong copywriting skills, an understanding of digital marketing and analytics, and confidence using tools such as Canva are important. The ideal volunteer will be proactive, organised and able to work independently. Experience in the voluntary sector is welcome but not essential.

What will you be doing?

• Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms
• Create and schedule engaging content aligned with GSI’s brand
• Monitor analytics and optimize campaigns for reach and impact
• Collaborate with content writers and design team for visuals and messaging
• Respond to community interactions and build online relationships
