This role improves how people interact with GSI’s digital services. Better user experiences make it easier for vulnerable people to find information, access support and engage with our work, increasing reach and social impact.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer with experience in UX/UI design and a strong user-centred approach. Skills in wire framing, visual design and accessibility are important. The ideal volunteer will be creative, detail-focused and able to work collaboratively. Experience with digital tools and the voluntary sector is desirable but not essential.

What will you be doing?

The Volunteer UX/UI Designer will improve the usability and visual design of GSI’s digital platforms. Tasks include reviewing user journeys, creating wireframes and design concepts, and collaborating with developers and content teams to enhance accessibility and user experience. The role requires around 6 hours per week for approximately six months and is fully remote.
