West London (Hybrid – office-based Mon–Thurs, Fridays remote) Salary: £60,000 – £65,000  benefits A growing consumer brand is looking to hire a Senior Management Accountant to take ownership of its monthly reporting and play a key role in maintaining a robust, well-run finance function. This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified accountant who enjoys being close to the detail, owning the numbers end-to-end, and working in a collaborative, commercially minded environment.

The Role Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for producing accurate, timely monthly management accounts and ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet. You’ll be the go-to person for month-end, working closely with operational teams to ensure financial information is well understood and reliable. While the core processes are in place, there is scope to refine and improve reporting over time for someone who enjoys making things better once they’re fully embedded.

Key Responsibilities Ownership of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet and cashflow) Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations Ensuring reporting is audit-ready with clear supporting schedules Working with stakeholders to understand performance and key drivers Supporting budgeting, forecasting and periodic re-forecasting Maintaining strong financial controls and processes About You Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) Proven experience owning the full month-end process Confident with balance sheet control and audit preparation Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with accounting systems Practical, detail-oriented and able to explain numbers clearly Enjoys working in a smaller team where collaboration matters What’s on Offer Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience Fridays worked remotely 23 days holiday rising to 27, with option to buy additional days Annual clothing allowance and staff discount Supportive leadership and a friendly, down-to-earth working environment This role would suit someone looking for stability, ownership and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in a growing business - without stepping into a chaotic or unstructured environment.
