Head of Finance Salary: £70k - £80k
Location:
Birmingham Job Type: 12 Month FTC We are looking for a strategic and commercially focused Head of Finance to join our client and lead financial operations, drive business performance, and provide senior leadership across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Lead the financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and board-level reporting. Oversee financial controls, governance, compliance, and risk management. Manage the finance team, developing capability and ensuring high performance. Own cashflow, treasury, statutory accounts, audit, and tax compliance. Partner with senior leadership to support decision-making and operational improvements. Drive systems development and process efficiencies, including new system implementation. Ensure accurate delivery of finance operations including payroll, reconciliations, and reporting.
Skills & Experience ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or QBE with senior leadership experience). Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, financial controls, and statutory reporting. Proven experience leading a finance function. Excellent communication skills with board-level confidence. Commercial, analytical, and systems-aware.
