Management Accountant

Based on the edge of Oldham our Client has been established for over 10 years and has a market reputation of a consistently high level of Service delivery to its diverse Customer base across the UK and  orthern Europe. 2026 is a developmental year for our Client as they look to push into a new Customer base in Asia – meaning that they need to appoint a hands on and proactive Management Accountant – who can either be Qualified by Experience or Finalist / Qualified ACCA / CIMA or AAT.

WHAT IS ON OFFER AS THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Annual Salary of c £38,000 – £43,000 dependent on experience and qualifications 25 Days Holiday PLUS Bank Hols Flexible start and finish times can be negotiated – there is an early finish on a Friday On Site Car Parking Gym Membership plus a range of other Life Style Benefits Standard Pension – which can be enhanced YOUR ROLE AS THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Will report to the Finance Controller and will work as part of a proactive / hands on and committed Finance team.

As the Management Accountant you will also work closely with the External Accountants for Year End Audit and review of Final Accounts. You will also work across;
Daily use of Excel and Xero for extensive Reporting and Analysis Prepare Monthly / Annual Financial Statements – with specific focus on Management Accounts – Profit and Loss Prepare and review Gross Margin Reports / Analysis Work with the FC across Budgets and Quarterly / Monthly Review and Reforecast Working closely with Heads of Departments to better understand Budgets / Costs etc.
