Financial Accountant

Location: Southend-On-Sea

Duties will include but not be limited too:
Assist in the preparation of the management accounts, working alongside the Financial Accountant and Finance Business Partners to produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts. Prepare weekly/monthly KPI information Prepare journal entries, including month end and year-end adjustments. Ensure accurate and timely period end accounting, including completion of balance sheet reconciliations. Report on capital expenditure against budget Support in the production of quarterly forecasts by working closely with finance business partners and key stakeholders Assist in the preparation of the quarterly VAT return.

Provide ad hoc financial and management information/reporting to the wider business. Assist in the production and consolidation of the annual budget. Support in the preparation of year end financial statements and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process. You will have the following skill set ACA/ACCA Qualified (Practice trained) Seeking to make the first move into a dynamic and profitable business Strong communication skills Strong financial accounting exposure within practice and is keen to add a commercial side to their skill set.
