Technical Manager – Extraction Systems

Location: Colchester

Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + Annual bonus based on company profit

• Own the manufactured range of dust, fume & mist extraction products, including downdraught benches, dust control booths, mist filters, air cleaning systems and tool vacuum systems.
• Provide guidance for the application of the product range across industries such as rail, automotive, aerospace, tool hire, stone masonry, manufacturing and engineering.
• Assist with customer enquiries, providing technical advice and support.
• Keep up to date with relevant standards and company documentation to ensure compliance.
• Act as the internal subject‑matter expert on technical aspects of the product range.
• Develop detailed design specifications for products and projects.
• Identify third‑party solutions and suppliers as necessary to create a complete product offering.

• Engineering background within ventilation or a related field such as HVAC, manufacturing or heavy commercial machinery.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor is desirable.
• Understanding of relevant manufacturing and ventilation standards.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑focused and oriented.
• Valid driving licence.
