Milk Education are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist provision in Southend to recruit a compassionate and committed Therapeutic Learning Support Assistant (LSA).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a setting that adopts a holistic therapeutic approach, creating a nurturing, structured environment where pupils feel safe, valued and ready to learn.

About the Setting

Our partner school provides a safe base for pupils and prioritises the development of appropriate “trusted adult” relationships to support both emotional wellbeing and academic progress.

The school operates within a strong therapeutic framework and offers:

  • In‑school counselling provision
  • Speech, language and communication support
  • Emotional wellbeing programmes

There are two fully qualified counsellors on site who deliver weekly 1:1 sessions for students, specialising in CBT, art therapy and play therapy. Additional sessions can be arranged where required. The provision has also recently extended counselling support to parents on a voluntary basis.

This setting places wellbeing at the heart of everything it does.
