Teacher Active are currently seeking a passionate and resilient SEMH Teacher to join a supportive provision in Southend-on-Sea, starting as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to re‑engage with learning and achieve their full potential.

• Teaching small groups of pupils with SEMH needs
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
• Creating a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Working closely with support staff, SENCOs and external professionals

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
• Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour (school, PRU or alternative provision experience welcomed)
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Calm, patient and resilient approach
