Supply Teacher - Southend-on-Sea

We are currently recruiting dedicated and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a wide range of primary and secondary schools in Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to make a positive impact in local schools. Whether you are an experienced teacher, an Early Career Teacher (ECT), or a qualified teacher returning to the profession, we welcome applications.

• Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the national curriculum and school policies
• Follow pre-set lesson plans where provided, adapting lessons to meet pupils  needs
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment
• Assess and support pupil progress during lessons and provide feedback where required
• Work collaboratively with school staff and support teams
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and school procedures are followed at all times

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised UK teaching qualification
• Recent classroom-based teaching experience within UK schools
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to new school environments
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional references covering recent employment
