Position: Supply Teacher (Contract, Temporary)
Supply Teacher - Southend-on-Sea

We are currently recruiting dedicated and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a wide range of primary and secondary schools in Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to make a positive impact in local schools.

Whether you are an experienced teacher, an Early Career Teacher (ECT), or a qualified teacher returning to the profession, we welcome applications.

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the national curriculum and school policies

Follow pre-set lesson plans where provided, adapting lessons to meet pupils' needs

Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment

Assess and support pupil progress during lessons and provide feedback where required

Work collaboratively with school staff and support teams

Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and school procedures are followed at all times

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised UK teaching qualification

Recent classroom-based teaching experience within UK schools

Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to new school environments

Strong communication and organisational skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Two professional references covering recent employment
