Experienced Course Developer - Volunteer
Use your learning design skills to support social change as a Volunteer Course Developer. Help Global Social Innovators create accessible courses that build knowledge, skills and confidence within communities.
What difference will you make?This role strengthens GSI’s ability to share knowledge and build capacity. Well‑designed courses help people develop skills, improve access to support, and enable communities to benefit more fully from social innovation initiatives.
What are we looking for?We are looking for a volunteer with experience in learning design, course development or education. Strong organisational skills, clear written communication and an understanding of inclusive learning are important. The ideal volunteer will be creative, reliable and able to work independently. Experience in digital learning or the voluntary sector is desirable but not essential.
What will you be doing?- Design and develop engaging learning content to support GSI’s programmes.
- Structure courses, create lesson content, activities and resources.
- Work with subject experts to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Adapt content for online delivery and different audiences.
- Commit to approximately 6 hours per week for six months, fully remote.
- Experience in learning design, course development or education.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of inclusive learning principles.
- Desirable: experience in digital learning or the voluntary sector.
