Randstad Education is looking for an ambitious and resilient Science Teacher to join a large, well‑resourced secondary school in Shoeburyness

• Position: Teacher of Science (KS3/KS4)
• Location: Shoeburyness, Essex
• Pay Rate: £140 - £170 per day (Weekly PAYE)
• Contract: Full‑Time, Long‑term
• Start Date: January 2026

• Deliver high‑quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Utilise modern lab facilities to perform practical demonstrations that bring theory to life.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a safe and productive environment for all learners.
• Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and engaging.
• Support the school's ethos of "Achievement for All," helping students of all levels reach their potential.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A proven track record of teaching Science at the secondary school level.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students in the Shoeburyness area.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to undergo a check).
