Salary: £140-£170 per day (Dependent on experience)

Randstad Education is seeking a qualified Secondary English Teacher to join a vibrant local department starting January 2026.

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will work within a supportive department that values innovation and academic excellence.

• Plan and deliver interactive lessons in English Language and Literature that adhere to the National Curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help pupils reach their full potential.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive and safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with departmental colleagues to develop creative schemes of work.
• Support GCSE preparation
  , ensuring students are confident and well-equipped for their examinations.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven experience teaching English at the Secondary school level (KS3 & KS4).
• A deep passion for literature and language with the ability to inspire students.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
