Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable main dealership in Southend, Essex, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy and professional team. • Competitive basic salary up to £35,000 per annum, with a potential OTE of £50,000 based on performance
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:00am – 1:00pm)

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on customer vehicles efficiently and to high standards
• Identify vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment accurately
• Explain repairs and vehicle issues clearly to customers, offering exceptional customer service
• Complete work within designated time frames while maintaining quality standards
• Adhere to health and safety requirements and company procedures

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a professional environment
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualifications (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Valid UK manual driving licence, with no more than 3 penalty points
• MOT tester certification is advantageous but not essential
• Strong customer service skills and professional appearance
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced workshop setting
