We're seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our vibrant and supportive Radiology Admin Team. If you have a background in reception, administration, and appointment booking, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, this could be the perfect role for you.

In this busy and rewarding role, you ll be responsible for providing specialised reception cover, booking imaging appointments, handling administrative tasks, and assisting with patient and visitor queries both in person and by phone. As the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, your professionalism and confidence in dealing with people at all levels will be essential.

The Ideal candidate will have these desired skills and attributes, but training will also be given;

• Experience in working in a patient / customer facing role.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Work accurately and calmly under pressure.
• High level of computer literacy.
• To be able to multi-task.
• Flexibility to cover colleague absence
• Flexibility to change days / hours if needed.

The role is 37.5 hours per week, we work various shifts over 7 days from Monday to Sunday, different shift patterns and weekend work applies to this role. Our department is open from 8am to 8pm, and an example of different shifts could be 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 12pm-8pm, and all shifts will be on a rota.

The role will cover 4 different reception areas and a call centre;
Main X-Ray department, Cherry Tree Reception, Ultrasound Department, MRI department and Women s Clinic Ultrasound reception.
