The Role:

We are seeking an Accountant with prior exposure to accounting practice work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career within a supportive and innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and review of financial statements and final accounts. Handling VAT returns and compliance with Making Tax Digital (MTD). Managing payroll processes and pension schemes. Performing bank reconciliations and bookkeeping tasks. Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients. Supporting clients with tax queries and compliance. Requirements:
Previous experience in an accounting practice environment. Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or Quick Books.
