As a Seasonal Maintainer, you’ll help create safe, clean, and welcoming outdoor environments at DDS facilities—places where people come to enjoy the summer, connect with others, and make lasting memories. Together, we maintain spaces that matter—grounds where campers laugh, trails where people explore, and facilities where safety and comfort are essential.

Seasonal opportunities in Connecticut.
Southbury Training School – Southbury, CT:
Monday - Friday 7:15 am - 3:15 pm (days off: Saturday & Sunday).
Camp Harkness – Waterford, CT: 20.0 to 37.50 hours per week with varied schedules (see original schedule details).
Positions start May 15 2026 and end no later than October 15 2026 (some openings run until November 12 2026).

Pay Rate: $21.06 per hour.

• At least 18 years old by May 2 2025.
• Can commit to the full season.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and be able to use maintenance equipment safely.
• Physically prepared to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Have the strength, flexibility, and endurance for hands‑on tasks.
• Enjoy working around a wide variety of people, including staff and campers.
• Committed to completing training and passing a pre‑employment physical.
