Position:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Southbury, CT

River Glen Health Care Center is hiring per diem, part time and full time positions.

• Basic patient care under direction of nursing staff
• Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, or changing linens
• Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation
• Prefer experience with patients of all ages in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting; dedication to quality care

• Must be a certified or state-tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents served
• Must be a supportive team member and contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and willingness to handle difficult residents
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition
