Experienced Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Southbury
, a service of Senior Solutions (Senior Solutions At Home, Inc.).

$18.00 /hr – $20.00 /hr

Southbury, CT (Client lives in Wolcott; reliable transportation required).

16 hours per week;
Mondays 9:30 am‑1:30 pm and Tuesdays‑Fridays 9:30 am‑12:30 pm.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management.
• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary restrictions.
• Assist with mobility and transfer clients safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Engage in conversation and offer companionship to clients.
• Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition to the supervisor.

• Previous experience as a Caregiver or similar role.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Two professional references.
• Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform caregiving duties.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Proof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear results.
• Additional training (CNA, HHA) is a plus.
