Overview
We are seeking a Wastewater Operator for assignment in Southbridge, Massachusetts. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
** This position requires a Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) **
** This posiiton requires a valid Wastewater Operator License; or the ability to obtain one **
** This position has a rotating on-call schedule **
- Preventive maintenance
- Establish and maintain effective sample procedures of plant operations and effluent
- Diagnose operating problems
- Make process control adjustments
- Direct and perform necessary corrective action
- Prepare reports
- Collect samples
- Perform laboratory testing
- Determine proper chemical flow rates
- Maintain shift logs
- Perform other duties as required
- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Drivers License
- A valid Wastewater Operator License
- A valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
- 1+ years experience operating a wastewater treatment facility
