Maintenance Mechanic 1st shift

Seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity in Southbridge, MA.

Full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k!

Pay is between $25 - $30 per hour (based on experience)
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

• Respond promptly to machine failures, breakdowns, installations, and facility maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major production equipment.
• Service, overhaul, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and protocols.

• Trade school or equivalent technical training preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related maintenance role preferred.
• Fabricating, welding, sheet metal, and pipe fitting experience required.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform basic mathematics.
• Must own a personal set of tools.
• Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability to evolving situations.
• Ability to operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) — training provided if needed.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
• Skilled in safe operation of hand and power tools.
• Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

• Ability to stand for extended periods, stoop, and bend.
• Lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Vision of 20/40 or better (with corrective lenses if necessary).
• Comfortable working from ladders.
• Must be able to wear eye and hearing protection.
