The Food Service custodian is a flexible individual who can assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the food service department. The candidate should enjoy working in a school environment.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:

• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, cleaning floors.
• Clean food production area, serving area and sitting area during and after meal service.
• Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
• Performs all other kitchen duties as required including assisting in the serving of food items when necessary.
• Provides services to cafeteria customers in a friendly and efficient manner.

• The employee must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred but not required.
• Prior cafeteria or food industry experience, preferred but not required.
