Overview

Our esteemed law firm is actively seeking a seasoned Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a proven track record of success. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.

Salary $175,000 - $210,000 per year. This position is hosted by Tony Fasano.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the litigation process including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
  • Conduct extensive legal research to gather relevant information for cases.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, appeals, contracts, and legal opinions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, presenting evidence and arguments in the most compelling and persuasive manner.
  • Liaise and negotiate with opposing counsel and parties to achieve favorable case resolutions.
  • Provide legal advice to clients, interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategy, considering the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
  • Maintain client relationships by providing exceptional service, including regular updates on case progress and timely responses to client inquiries.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing, with a strong ability to draft and interpret legal documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
  • Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases from start to finish, with successful outcomes.
  • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
