SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Ventilator Patient Specialist to join the Rotech team. This role manages a set number of ALS and/or Pediatric ventilation patients within a defined territory. The position pays between $36/hr – $42/hr in MA, plus bonus opportunity.
Responsibilities- Available for on-call assignments as needed; responsible for phone consultations during non-business hours.
- Maintains continuing education as required for licensure or certification.
- Maintains documentation of all services per Rotech policies.
- Maintains records and workspace in an organized, safe, clean, and neat fashion.
- Maintains up-to-date licensure per state law.
- Supports orientation and training of other personnel.
- Patient assessment and education.
- Sets up highly technical respiratory equipment and monitors ongoing function.
- Background investigation & drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Accredited respiratory care program or RN acceptable.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) preferred.
- Home respiratory care experience preferred.
- Must be licensed in primary state and provide copy of license.
- Pediatric and/or ALS ventilation experience required.
- Problem solving and effective communication in English.
- Knowledge of DME or HME.
- Multi-task and attention to detail.
- Lift and carry office equipment occasionally.
- Require close vision to small print on computer.
- Compliance with Rotech Respiratory Protection policy.
