Commercial Construction Supervisor Plus

Overview

Walker Development & Construction Management is looking for an experienced Job Construction Supervisor to join our team. This position coordinates all day-to-day site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities.

• Work closely with, and learn from, the organization’s owners/principals and other senior members of the team
• Contribute to the overall success of the organization by helping to develop those around you, and by suggesting and establishing new processes and practices that will help bring additional efficiencies to the organization and its clients

• Knowledge of the construction industry including construction site management, project scheduling and financial acumen
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a close attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication and negotiation skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Project, and Excel
• Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, project implications, and costs
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to constant change
• Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet deadlines
• Ability to perform tasks in a safe and responsible manner
• Experience supervising all aspects of construction projects for various types of clients and project delivery methods
• Ensure personal conduct reflects the company’s mission statement
• 10+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Supervisor
• OSHA 30
• CSL
