Overview
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our food service operations and lead our team at Rotolo's Craft & Crust. The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including team management, food handling, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.

Job Type: Full-time
Duties- Manage and lead a team of employees, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed and control labor and food costs
- Work with existing managerial staff from other locations and corporate office to help implement existing Rotolo's policies
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen manager to create and execute catering events
- Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions for new team members
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff members
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Extensive knowledge of the food industry, including food handling and safety protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and vendors
- Competent with POS System
- Ability to effectively communicate and develop a rapport with guests to increase intent to return
- Experience in food service management, including inventory control and cost management
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills to address issues in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in interviewing techniques to identify top talent for the team
- Knowledge of catering operations and experience in planning successful events
- Previous experience as an assistant manager or similar role is preferred
- Culinary background or experience as a cook is a plus
