GASTROENTEROLOGY OPPORTUNITY

Baptist Medical Group – Seeking BC/BE General Gastroenterologists to join our 1000+ physician medical group!

• This is an employed opportunity with Baptist Medical Group (a multispecialty physician practice that includes the largest network of doctors in the Mid-South)

Some notable facts about our Gastroenterology program:

• Help us expand our current practice into our sister hospital, located just 15 minutes from downtown Memphis
  • The need exists due to increasing patient demand in a relatively untapped market
• The incoming physician will join an experienced GI at our new DeSoto location, which serves as an extension of the larger (6 physician) Memphis-based GI group
• Position is for a general GI physician (ERCP experience preferred but not required)
• Equipment includes Olympus scopes, Medi Vator washers, Scope Buddy in the washroom, and Irby argon gas and cauterize rs for bleeds/ulcers
• Strong referral base and immediate volume; large primary care network
• Excellent medical, surgical, and critical care support
• Call is 1:3 with hospitalist admitting unless urgent (Hospitalists are in house 24/7)
• Competitive compensation with sign on bonus and relocation assistance
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) eligible employer
• J1 and H1B visas are available
