Forklift Driver & Warehouse Operative

Position: Forklift Driver & Warehouse Operative
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Forklift license to join a successful team working on their late shift.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with warehouse experience who is happy to complete multiple roles including order picking, loading and general stock and labelling/placement duties.

Responsibilities

* Handling materials efficiently, including loading and unloading goods

* Using pick sheets and stock lists.

* Assisting with picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer requirements

* Stocking shelves within the warehouse for easy access and safety compliance.

* Conducting quality control checks to maintain high standards of product quality.

* Using the Counterbalance Forklift to move items when required.

* Heavy lifting of goods and materials safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines.

* Loading and unloading containers with additional warehouse stock.

* Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe, organised, and compliant with safety regulations.

Requirements

* Previous warehouse and order picking experience.

* A valid Counterbalance Forklift license

* Knowledge of material handling and the ability to work independently.

* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.

* Good organisational skills with attention to detail in picking & packing.

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

* Strong commitment to health and safety standards within a busy warehouse environment.

Working late shift hours Monday-Friday (40hrs) with an immediate start after successful interview, this role will be temporary to permanent for the right candidate
