Overview
About The Role Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking for something different in your next driving role where no two days are the same and you can combine driving with delivering fantastic customer service? Join a team where your contribution is valued. At Sunbelt Rentals UK, our vision is to own the future of rentals. We’ve invested in our network to ensure our transport colleagues stay connected and our customers receive a world‑class service.
Our FORS Gold accreditation demonstrates our commitment to driver and vehicle safety as a core priority.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an HGV Category C+E Driver with HIAB to support our Service Centre operations and deliver quality products and services on time for our customers. Every day brings something new – travelling to different locations, meeting customers, delivering and collecting a wide range of plant hire equipment (e.g., excavators, telehandlers, generators, scissor lifts). You’ll also demonstrate how to operate the equipment, with training provided to perform this professionally and safely.
The personal qualities you bring are important – you’ll be the face of Sunbelt Rentals and a great brand ambassador, friendly and helpful, and willing to support teammates and customers.
What can we offer you in return? A good work/life balance with a Monday-Friday pattern of 42.5 hours per week, with potential for overtime by mutual agreement. You’ll join a highly successful FTSE
100 company with a flexible rewards package including generous holiday allowance (with the opportunity to buy and sell annual leave), life assurance, retail discount scheme, employee recognition awards and a great company pension.

- You will be a fully competent HGV driver with licence category C, preferably with a clean driving licence (no more than six points).
- Licence category E with Driver CPC and Digital Driver Card is desirable (Training may be available).
- HIAB Licence.
- Experience in the movement of Plant or Powered Access equipment with IPAF or ADR certification desirable.
