Main Purpose of the Job
We are a well-established family-owned insulation company; we have identified a position for an experienced or trainee Insulation Technician to join our Southampton Branch.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Cavity Wall and Loft Insulation both Commercial & Retrofit; however, we are happy to provide training. In any event, you must hold a CSCS card & a full driving license.
The Role:As an Insulation installer, your duties will include:
Carrying out a dynamic risk assessment prior to commencing work.Ensuring all works are completed in line with industry and company standards to achieve set quality targets.Liaising with customers, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.Adhering to all company Health and Safety rules.Working away at other depots when required.Who are we looking for:
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Full driving license is essential.Excellent face-to-face communication skills and able to deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.Proven ability to self-motivate, achieve set targets, and experience of working without direct supervision, using initiative, and working to deadlines.Flexible approach to working hours due to the nature of the job.Experience of working/complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures.Good working knowledge of the insulation industry and current technical skills, preferably with installing experience.Technical knowledge of cavity wall and loft insulation.An awareness of environmental issues.Hold a CSCS card and preferably an NVQ Level 2 in Cavity Wall Installing and Loft Installing; however, we are happy to provide training for the right person.How to applyFor more information or to apply for this position, please forward a copy of your CV with a covering letter to
