Our client, a prestige dealer in Southampton, is looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician.

£35,000 basic, £42,000 OTE uncapped. 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays. Life assurance and pension scheme. 41.25 hours per week, including Saturdays on a rota basis.

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write‑ups and job card completion.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with company standards.

• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• Strong teamwork skills, following process and upholding high standards of safety and quality.
• A MOT licence is a plus; full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Someone eager to learn; this role will test you and help you develop and progress within your Mechanic career with manufacturer accreditation training.
