We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic / to join our Southampton-based team. This is a full‑time, workshop‑based position focused on keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and roadworthy.

You’ll be responsible for servicing, repairs, fault‑finding, diagnostics, and MOT preparation, working both independently and as part of a small, experienced team.

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of HGVs
• Fault‑finding and diagnostics
• MOT preparation
• Inspections, safety checks, and record keeping
• Supporting a safe and efficient workshop environment

Essential:

• Proven experience in HGV maintenance and repair
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of HGV safety and compliance
• Team‑focused with a strong work ethic

Desirable:

• Relevant NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent
• Experience with specialised heavy haulage vehicles
• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
