Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Master Technician based in Southampton. The Master Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards set by the manufacturer. Duties include conducting vehicle inspections, repairs, diagnostics, and services with precision and efficiency, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing technical guidance to peers. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of work carried out and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service.

Qualifications
  • Strong technical expertise in vehicle diagnosis, repair, and servicing, with a focus on professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of electric vehicle systems and high‑voltage battery technology is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software used in vehicle maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to provide guidance to team members and apprentices.
  • Problem‑solving abilities and a focus on achieving customer satisfaction.
  • A recognised automotive technical qualification such as NVQ/City & Guilds or IMI Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving licence is required; MOT Tester qualification is desirable.
