IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome Sales & Sustainability Assistants. In IKEA we call this a Product Quality and Recovery Co‑Worker.

- Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
- Planned induction dates are 08 and 15 February 2026.
- 12–20 hour a week contracts available, which will include working 3 in 4 weekends and shifts through the week at evenings at times until 21:00pm. Contract size can be discussed at interview in line with your preferences and our business needs.
- These are permanent contracts where you will be working throughout the year.

What You'll Need To Have- A positive approach to waste management and sustainability, love multi‑tasking, and a passion for giving things a new life.
- Have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
- You are motivated to problem solve and use your own initiative daily. You are enthusiastic about being part of the team but also can work without supervision.
- Ability to prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.
- Re‑purpose, present and sell IKEA products with pride, and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the business.
- Work closely with the different functions in the unit to ensure that common working routines and processes are followed related to product quality, safety and recovery.
- Support and action the product quality guidelines for recalled, returned and ex‑display stock, to constantly improve customers’ perception of our IKEA products.
- This is a customer-facing role, where you will be supporting customers as they purchase products.
