Laboratory Technician; Oligonucelotides

We are seeking a Lab Technician to work in the exciting field of Nucleic Acid Synthesis supporting the synthesis and Production of high-quality modified oligonucleotides. Full training will be provided

• Assist the production team with production, analysis and characterisation of Oligonucleotides.
• Follow standard operating procedures in adherence to ISO
  9001.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments including calibration.
• Record and interpret results accurately, maintaining detailed documentation.
• Ensure good laboratory housekeeping managing consumables.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
• Collaborate with the Scientists and Senior Scientists on project work.

• Education:
  
  BSc or higher in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Previous Lab experience is highly desirable.
• Experienced in lab techniques including Mass Spectrometry and HPLC is highly desirable.
• Experience in nucleic acid chemistry or synthesis is desirable but not essential.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
