Are you a Ward Sister / Charge Nurse or an experienced Staff Nurse looking for a new challenge? If so, we would love to have you join our teams. We are excited to offer a permanent, full‑time Band 6 post within Medicine Care in Respiratory, and a 12‑month secondment or maternity cover opportunity may also be available. The RHDU team cares for patients with a variety of acute respiratory conditions, requiring non‑invasive ventilator support.
The department is purpose built with substantial side rooms and facilities.

DetailedJob Description And Main Responsibilities What you’ll do
You will be acting as a role model for nursing staff, encouraging effective working relationships and the development of a cohesive nursing team. You will be responsible for assisting the Senior Sister in the management of the ward for a 24‑hour period ensuring high standards of care are maintained.

The sister/charge nurse role requires a close working relationship with multi‑professional teams to ensure that evidence‑based quality care is delivered with compassion to every patient.
