Bid Writer – Volunteer (V.L.A.D. Outreach CIC)
Fundraising for V.L.A.D. Outreach CIC presents a unique opportunity to support a vital Mental Health Community Interest outreach project. We offer free and donation-based services to hard‑to‑reach groups.

Your impact will directly contribute to the organisation’s ability to serve the community by sustaining and expanding essential mental health services, raising awareness, building community support, and enabling growth & innovation.
Key Impacts- Sustaining and expanding services – Providing the financial resources needed to maintain and grow essential mental health services.
- Raising awareness – Helping increase visibility of the CIC’s mission and the issues surrounding mental health.
- Building community support – Fostering a sense of community ownership and participation through engagement with donors, volunteers, and local organisations.
- Enabling growth & innovation – Allowing the CIC to invest in new projects and initiatives that address emerging mental health needs.
- Fundraising expertise – Knowledge of different fundraising methods (e.g., online campaigns, grant writing, corporate sponsor ships, donor engagement).
- Communication skills – Strong written and verbal communication to engage donors, partners, and the community.
- Relationship building – Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Empathy and sensitivity – A compassionate approach and understanding of mental health issues.
- Grants and funding applications – Familiarity with writing successful grant applications and seeking funding from trusts, foundations, and government bodies.
- Community engagement – Experience engaging local communities, businesses, and organisations to raise awareness, build partnerships, and secure financial support.
- Knowledge of mental health issues – While not essential, experience in the mental health sector is highly beneficial.
The role involves actively supporting the organisation’s mission to provide free and donation‑based mental health services to underserved and hard‑to‑reach communities.
- Grant writing and applications – Assisting in identifying and applying for grants and funding opportunities.
- Collaboration – Working with the V.L.A.D. Outreach team to ensure fundraising efforts align with the organisation’s needs and priorities.
