We are looking for a hands‑on Mechanical and/or Electrical Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault‑finding, problem‑solving, and keeping production running smoothly.

You’ll be someone who’s confident working with industrial machinery, happy to work shifts, and keen to be part of a close‑knit engineering team in a well-established manufacturing environment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a range of automated manufacturing equipment. Following a short but thorough induction, you’ll be expected to work confidently and independently while collaborating closely with the wider engineering and production teams.

• Level 3 qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related industrial maintenance discipline
• Computer literacy and good mathematical skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication skills and a team‑player mindset
• Self‑motivated and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Willingness to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, alternating days and nights (12‑hour shifts)
• 1–2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance or a similar environment
• Experience with control systems, automation, and electrical/mechanical fault finding
• Blown film extrusion lines
• Flexographic printing presses
• Slitting machines
• Automation and/or robotics systems

• Initial period (training & assessment):
  Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
• Shift pattern (once fully integrated): 4 days on / 4 days off

6:00am – 6:00pm / 6:00pm – 6:00am (Alternating days and nights)

Full-time, Permanent role
